# Markdown support for bold and italics text styling

Markdown support for bold and italics text styling launched

I would be much more productive while writing if I could use the *bold* and __italics__ syntax from Markdown, instead of having to go back and select a word and then use a keyboard shortcut or the UI button to apply those styles.

Good point on how this would better faster than keyboard shortcuts. Will look into it!
