I would like to be able to "minimize" the interface to feature the note, full in the browser window. Like a "presentation mode". This has become invaluable to me in Evernote. I really need to get away from it, but I need the workflow.

Have you had a chance to check out Notejoy's [Focus View](/content/help/focus-view/index.html) which I believe accomplishes what you are looking for?
